New Ferula of Leo XIV Removes Nails and Passion of Christ

On Palm Sunday, Leo XIV used again a ferula that features a risen Christ leaving the cross.
He has used it since 6 January 2026. On 9 January, the Office for the Liturgical Celebrations told VaticanNews.va that the cross "unites the mission of proclaiming the mystery of Christ on the cross with the glorious manifestation of the resurrection".
The ferula "presents Christ no longer bound by the nails of the Passion, but with his glorified body", according to the papal office.
And: "The Paschal Mystery thus becomes a source of hope for humanity because death no longer has any power over mankind since Christ redeemed everything he assumed."

This ferula is inconsistent with the truth of the Gospel. Jesus resurrected out of the tomb, not off of the cross.
On the cross he was absolutely, completely and utterly, dead. His crucifixion and death was the most through and through complete offering of His whole Self for us to God. It is the most awful and beautiful expression of love in the entire universe, and a continuing challenge to us who claim to 'love' like Him! Why shrink from showing His beautiful death to the whole world?

Room of the Last Supper (Cenacle, the upper chamber), Mount Zion. The world's first church.
Cenacle - Wikipedia

The Cenacle (from the Latin cenaculum, "dining room"), also known as the Upper Room (from the Koine Greek anagaion and hyperōion, both meaning "upper room"), is a room in Mount Zion in Jerusalem, just outside the Old City walls, traditionally held to be the site of the Last Supper, the final meal that, in the Gospel accounts, Jesus held with the apostles.
According to the Christian Bible, the Cenacle was a place in which the apostles continued to gather after the Last Supper, and it was also the site where the Holy Spirit alighted upon the twelve apostles on Pentecost, Matthias having been "numbered with the eleven apostles" to replace Judas in Acts 1:25.
The site is administered by the Israeli authorities, and is part of a building holding what is known as "David's Tomb" on its ground floor.

Room of the Last Supper (Cenacle, the upper chamber), Mount Zion. The world's first church.
Zahi Shaked. Israeli tour guide Jun 12, 2013. The Cenacle (from Latin coenaculum), also known as the "Upper Room", is a room in Jerusalem traditionally held to be the site of The Last Supper. The word is a derivative of the Latin word cenō, which means dinner. In Christian tradition, based on Acts 1:13,[1] the "Upper Room" was not only the site of the Last Supper (i.e. the Cenacle), but the usual place where the Apostles stayed in Jerusalem and, according to the Catholic Encyclopedia,[2] "the first Christian church".

Can one trust a state that has officially declared that international law does not apply to it? A country that withdraws from treaties, obligations, and guarantees at the first opportunity? Iranian President Pezeshkian has stated that he is willing to end the war in exchange for guarantees against further attacks.
For more details, see the article published on ZeroHedge on Tuesday evening: Iran Says ‘Prepared To End War’ If Security Guarantees Offered.
In my opinion, Iran’s drones, missiles, and strategic acumen are the best guarantee that it will not be attacked again. It would be good if the United States were to close all its bases in the Middle East. This can be compared to a court-ordered restraining order imposed on individuals who have behaved aggressively toward their family members. While this offers no guarantees, it at least makes malicious behavior more difficult and creates a legal basis for punishing …

1. The War Was Predictably Destabilizing The speaker begins by saying any competent analyst should have known that attacking Iran would disrupt global energy markets. Iran has the capability to interfere with oil flows (especially in key shipping lanes), so economic fallout was a “known known”—not a surprise. 2. Failure to Build International Support They contrast this conflict with earlier U.S. wars: 1991 Gulf War: A broad coalition was built before combat—European allies, Arab states, and NATO partners were aligned. 2003 Iraq War: Even though controversial, the U.S. at least attempted to gain NATO backing and international legitimacy. Current situation: No real diplomatic effort was made to build a coalition. Europe is refusing to participate. European economies are already strained (e.g., from Russia sanctions), and this war is worsening their situation. Conclusion: The U.S. acted unilaterally and now stands isolated. 3. No Serious War Planning The speaker argues the war was launched …badan

“Chapter V ~ Of the Christian's debt of love, how great it is
From the contemplation of what has been said, we see plainly that God is to be loved
, and that He has a just claim upon our love. But the infidel does not acknowledge the Son of God, and so he can know neither the Father nor the Holy Spirit; for he that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father which sent Him, nor the Spirit whom He hath sent (John 5.23). He knows less of God than we; no wonder that he loves God less. This much he understands at least--that he owes all he is to his Creator. But how will it be with me? For I know that my God is not merely the bounteous Bestower of my life, the generous Provider for all my needs, the pitiful Consoler of all my sorrows, the wise Guide of my course: but that …badan

Marian Sanctuary in Northern Italy Denies Entry to FSSPX Pilgrimage

On March 28, a Lenten pilgrimage organized by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) was denied entry to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows in Cuceglio, near Turin, Italy.
Despite being announced in advance, the church doors remained closed to the group, which included priests, religious sisters, and families who had walked several kilometers in devotion.
The pilgrims had planned no Mass or formal liturgy - only a few concluding prayers.
According to the local newspaper La Voce, the decision to close the gates to the pilgrims was made by the rector of the sanctuary, Don Luca Meinardi, and by Bishop Daniele Salera of Ivrea. The newspaper comments: "A choice that inevitably contradicts an ecclesiastical vocabulary which, in recent years, has emphasized words like welcome, inclusion, dialogue, and mercy."

Fifth Mystery of Light: The institution of the Eucharist.
In the Fifth Luminous Mystery, “By celebrating the Last Supper with His Apostles in the course of the Passover meal, Jesus gave the Jewish Passover its definitive meaning. Jesus' passing over to His Father by His Death and Resurrection, the new Passover, is anticipated in the Supper and celebrated in the Eucharist, which fulfils the Jewish Passover and anticipates the final Passover of the Church in the glory of the Kingdom".

Trump’s Executive Order: DHS to Build State Citizenship Lists and Secure Mail-In Ballots – The Real Reason for Democrat Resistance to Election Integrity

I had Grok break down Trump’s EO, and there were some interesting points:
1) This EO includes the involvement of DHS creating state citizenship lists for every state. DHS’s role in election security is expanding.
2) Mail-in ballots are being reformed, with “unique intelligent mail barcodes”, and these ballots can only be mailed to citizens on the state citizenship lists created by DHS and SSA.
3) The order also directs the AG to prioritize investigations and prosecutions of election-related crimes, particularly related to distributing/collecting illegal ballots to/from non-citizens.
In conclusion, Trump is using DHS to secure elections via managing the voter rolls and preventing mail-in ballot fraud, while the DOJ has been instructed to prosecute any attempts to cheat.
This is what the Dems have been worried about the entire time. This is why they have been refusing to fund DHS and throwing a fit about ICE. It was always about election security. BioClandestine

Private Audience with Leo XIV for €500,000

Spain is preparing for the June visit of Pope Leo XIV and the country’s bishops have introduced a controversial fundraising model: major donors can gain exclusive access to the pope.
The Spanish Bishops’ Conference has created a five-tier donation system.
At the top, “Great Benefactors” (€500,000-€1 million) are promised a private meeting with the pope, a Vatican working session, and VIP seating at events.
“Benefactors” (€250,000-€500,000) receive similar perks, though without a private audience.
Lower tiers offer recognition, titles, or public acknowledgment.
Organizers say the goal is to reduce the burden on taxpayers, as the trip is expected to cost €15 - €30 million.
Donations are also tax-deductible, and sponsors are offered global visibility, with millions expected to attend or watch.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 13,1-15.
Before the feast of Passover, Jesus knew that his hour had come to pass from this world to the Father. He loved his own in the world and he loved them to the end.
The devil had already induced Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot, to hand him over. So, during supper,
fully aware that the Father had put everything into his power and that he had come from God and was returning to God,
he rose from supper and took off his outer garments. He took a towel and tied it around his waist.
Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and dry them with the towel around his waist.
He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Master, are you going to wash my feet?"
Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing, you do not understand now, but you will understand later."
Peter said to him, "You will never wash my feet." Jesus answered him, "Unless I wash you, you will have no inheritance with me."
Simon Peter said to …

Jesus …

Leo XIV Carries Cross Himself in Rome's Colosseum Because "Christ Still Suffers"

Speaking to journalists in Castel Gandolfo this evening, Pope Leo XIV called on world leaders to “come back to the table” and solve their problems through dialogue (video below).
"I'm told that President Trump recently said he wanted to end the war. Hopefully, he is looking for a way out. I hope he's looking for a way to reduce the violence and bombing, which would significantly help to reduce the constant increase in hatred in the Middle East and elsewhere."
Leo XIV added, "Come back to the table and engage in dialogue. Let's look for solutions to problems and ways to reduce violence, so that peace — especially at Easter — might reign in our hearts."
The Pope was also asked about his decision to personally carry the cross during the traditional Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum on Friday. "I think it will be an important sign because of what the Pope represents: a spiritual leader in today's world and a voice saying that Christ still suffers."
When asked what he expects from his …badan
