New Zealand Bishop warns priests not to import practices from the 1962 Mass into the Novus Ordo. Bishop Stephen Lowe of Auckland, New Zealand, has rediscovered the liturgical rubrics. In a September 11 letter, he asked priests to review how they actually celebrate the Eucharist in light of the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM).
