Resisting The Effeminate West
The West is folding like a cheap suit before the unapologetic thrust of Islamic masculinity—and it's not because of birth rates. It's raw, civilizational **testosterone** versus therapeutic whimpering.
Islam still raises men. Traditional Islamic culture—rooted in Quranic guardianship (4:34), the warrior ethos of jihad (greater and lesser), and clear patriarchal lines—produces protectors, providers, and fighters who view dominance, honor, and conquest as natural male duties. Jihadi-Salafi strains crank this to hypermasculine extremes: aggression as virtue, women as domain, infidels as prey, brotherhood forged in battle. Even mainstream expressions reject the West's gender-blurring experiments. Men lead prayers, families, and communities without apology. They don't attend "toxic masculinity" workshops or debate their own existence.
The **Christian West**? It's gone soft. Once forged in the fire of crusading knights, monastic discipline, and fathers who built …More
Today, the Catholic Church celebrates the feast day of the vsionary of Lourdes, Saint Bernadette Soubirous.
She was known as the visionary who saw the Blessed Mother ,18 times,at a Grotto in Lourdes.
It wasn’t until the sixteenth vision that the white-veiled beautiful woman identified herself as the Virgin Mary, saying “I am the Immaculate Conception."
From her childhood until her death at age thirty-five, Saint Bernadette underwent much suffering caused by poverty, sickness, and the unkindness of some people. She endured her trials with patience and always maintained great faith and hope in God.
Bernadette’s body is incorrupt, till date, which means that it is preserved by God from decay.
She is the patron saint of bodily illness, Lourdes, against poverty, shepherds and shepherdesses, and people ridiculed for their faith
St. Bernadette Soubirous of Lourdes,
Pray for us.
Our Lady of Lourdes,
Pray for us.
Amen
The devil does not operate from strength, but from desperation.
Here's what I didn't understand for many years: I thought of the devil as an opponent who fights to win, who wants to win, who believes in his success. And this feeling made him scary, because an enemy who is confident of victory is dangerous.
But then I read in the “Revelation” of St. John the Theologian, and this place turned my whole understanding upside down: “Woe to you, who inhabit the land and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great anger, knowing that he has little time left”~Rev. 12:1. He has little time left, he knows it, so he is furious. It is not the wrath of the winner; it is the wrath of the condemned. Imagine a man who was sentenced to death saying, “After an appointed time, it will all be over for you.” What can he do?
He can humble himself, but the devil is not capable of humility.
This is the only thing he is deprived of by nature because of his pride. So he's doing something else: …More
The candle flickering in Leonardo's studio cast long, dancing shadows against the anatomical sketches pinned to the walls. It was the early 1500s and the world believed the heart was a mysterious furnace of the soul. But Leonardo da Vinci saw something else. He saw a machine of staggering complexity, a hydraulic masterpiece that defied the medical wisdom of his age.
To solve the riddle of how blood actually moved, he didn't just look at the organ. He decided to build it. Leonardo took the heart of an ox and injected liquid wax into the aortic valve. He waited in the silence of his workshop for the wax to harden, creating a perfect, three dimensional ghost of the heart's internal chambers.
From this wax mold, he envisioned a transparent model to study the mechanics of life itself. He then mixed water with tiny grass seeds to simulate the flow of blood and observed how the slurry would move through such structures.
As the seeds swirled, Leonardo witnessed something few had ever considered …More
China’s Xi vows to stand with friend Putin against ‘hegemonic bullying’
"Chinese leader, the highest-profile guest of Moscow’s WWII commemorations, keen to maintain ‘deep’ relationship with Russia." And "Catholics" think this is fine? Red China has a "Patriotic Church" as does Russia! Bad for China but ok for Russia! Russia nice warm and fuzzy! Putin likes his puppy! Smell the cognitive dissonance anyone?
@Strong and Steadfast
We are the good guys. We, the Catholics, the elect that have not been led into the total deception of this reign of chaos.
So, if China, Russia, Israel, and the USA are the bad guys, who are the good guys? Are there any good guys left? Who should we be rooting for in all this chaos?
