As Christmastide gives way to Ordinary Time in the Sunday Mass Gospel, John the Baptist connects the Lamb of God to the time of Abraham 2000 years before Christ.
He has already publicly stated that "the theology of the Church has changed." Of course, he was referring to the conciliar church, whose theology has certainly changed, meaning it is not Catholic. And since they have a different theology, the traditional Mass naturally doesn't suit them.

14.01.202 Cardinal Roche interpreted Vatican Council II unethically and deceptively : Traditionis Custode is obsolete with the Irrational Premise From Gloria TV with comments: Cardinal Roche’s Paper against the Mass in the Roman Rite Cardinal Arthur Roche distributed at Leo XIV’s consistory last week a text on liturgy. Journalist Nico Spuntoni published the two-page report (facsimile below). It is a strong defence of Traditionis Custodes. Lionel: We can interpret Vatican Council II with the Rational Premise and the conclusion is traditional and orthodox. Pope Francis wrongly interpreted Vatican Council II with the Irrational Premise to produce a liberal conclusion and the result was Traditionis Custode etc. Catholics are obliged to interpret Vatican Council II only rationally. _________________________ The report was one of four texts distributed to the cardinals. The others were written by Cardinals Tucho (Faith), Grech (Synod) and Baggio (Human development). Lionel: Similarly on Faith …

New Archbishop of Cape Town supports the “rights of LGBTQ+ persons”: Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Sithembele Sipuka to the notable Archdiocese of Cape Town on Friday. In October 2024, the prelate was elected president of the ecumenical body South African Council of Churches (SACC) that was already before him a homosexual ideological group. During the 'National Day of Prayer' in June 2025, the SACC's general secretary read a programme declaration. Monsignor Sipuka stood next to him and bears, as SACC president, institutional responsibility for this declaration. The SACC is committed to “defending the rights and dignity of marginalised communities, including refugees and LGBTQI+ persons”.

Peter Srsich was 19 when he traveled to the Vatican in May 2012 through the Make-A-Wish Foundation while suffering from advanced Hodgkin’s lymphoma pressing on his heart, so severe doctors couldn’t perform a biopsy. After intense treatment and suffering, Peter drew strength from the Eucharist and trusted God could heal him. During an audience in St. Peter’s Square, his father gave Pope Benedict XVI a bracelet reading “Pray for Peter.” When Peter asked for a blessing, the Pope unexpectedly placed his hand directly on Peter’s chest, where the tumor was. From that moment, Peter steadily improved and, against all medical expectations, fully recovered. He later entered seminary and was ordained a priest on May 15, 2021.
January 13th - Saint of the Day: Saint Hilary of Poitiers, Bishop & Doctor of the Church When the world tried to make Jesus “just a good teacher,” one bishop said: absolutely not. Meet Saint Hilary of Poitiers, the fourth-century heavyweight who fought for the truth that Jesus is fully God. Not “kind of divine.” Not “a lesser being.” True God from true God. Hilary was not even raised Christian, but his search for truth led straight to Scripture and the font of Baptism. Then he got chosen as Bishop of Poitiers and stepped into chaos: the Arian crisis, political pressure, compromised leaders, and a culture that wanted a softer Gospel. Sound familiar? He refused to bend. He got exiled. And instead of going silent, he wrote one of the Church’s greatest defenses of the Holy Trinity in On the Trinity. One of his most striking lines is: “God knows not how to be anything other than love.” And his prayer hits hard for anyone trying to stay faithful under …
